    Description

Original 1st printing 30 x 43" (restored/linen-backed to 32 x 45&1/2" total size) extra-large European kiosk-style concert poster for the First Worlds Fair for Youth, held at the New York Coliseum in NYC from 5/29-6/1/1969.
Acts listed include: Tommy James & the Shondells with Rhinoceros (5/29), Jay and the Americans and the Guess Who (5/29), Al Kooper with the Hello People (5/30) and the Brooklyn Bridge with the Illusion and Happenings (6/1).
Art by Kim Whitesides, medium-thick clay-coated index stock poster has been professionally restored to excellent (B+) condition; several decent-sized edge tears have been sealed, along with a couple of semi-obvious paper fills around the outer margin area and a minor bit of surface cleaning to remove a few small stains, but the work is absolutely TOP-NOTCH..
. to the naked eye, most of the conditional issues appear to have been obliterated- it looks REALLY nice.
ULTRA-COOL (and MASSIVE) late-60's oddball NYC event poster with a wildly eclectic lineup and a GORGEOUS design.
