This is  in Minty condition; very clean, 1 minor corner bump, no handling marks or stains .  Black mark on the upper left side and upper right edge  is a printer error were extra ink may have smeared on the printer plate or roller.  All copies I have seen have these same imperfections.

This item seldom comes up for auction.
I bought couple of these a few years ago from the artist estate, along with some other nice pieces. Most of the other handbills are James C Pagni Production shows at the Community Concourse in SD). Pagni produced the series of "Happenings" concerts in San Diego in 1967-1969, as well as shows elsewhere at universities in California and Arizona. This is
Happenings # 4
in the series.
THE ARTIST:
Donald Kay is credited with introducing psychedelic concert poster art to San Diego in the 1960s.  In the 1970s to 2015, Don was a renowned visionary artist, who works have been exhibited in galleries and art shows from San Francisco to New York.  His original paintings can be found in the collection of John Hopkins University. Don Kays posters can be found in The Art of Rock - Poster from Presley to Punk, Plates 3.11, 3.94 & 3.95.  More information on the artist is available on request.
