This is a vintage second print poster (approx. 13 3/4" x 23 3/4", and printed shortly after the shows by Bill Graham. This is an authorized reprinting of this poster, not a later bootleg/reproduction), promoting a series of show featuring the Young Rascals, Sopwith Camel & (as third billing) The Doors. These shows took place January 6 & 7, 1967 at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, and were the very first San Francisco appearances for The Doors. This classic psychedelic sixties image was designed by Wes Wilson, and is the 44th image in the Bill Graham Fillmore series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, remains in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition, and would make a very nice substitute for the much more expensive first print (0).
